Someone doesn't need to be white in order to find out Western culture provides many more comfort than some of tribal cultures it either replaced or integrated with. Well, one aspect that really annoys me is when some afronazis say every Brazilian caboclo is black, while the indigenous ancestry is what really defines a caboclo. In my native state Rio Grande do Sul, a lot of cultural elements were incorporated by Spanish and Portuguese settlers from local tribes, most notably the Charrua. Besides the usual afronazis blaming all their misfortunes on the white role in slavery, while also forgetting that other blacks used to sell captives for the European merchants, once in a while there are some other left-leaning bigots trying to claim traditions originated within Rio Grande do Sul to be only indigenous, as if a Charrua and a Yanomami from Amazonas were all the same...

It appears the Proud Boys stated platform is diametrically opposite of the post-modern, critical race theory garbage our Universities are pushing.
Any extreme idea is going to produce an opposite extreme. The thing is, there's going to be fewer Proud Boys demonstrating in the streets because they have jobs and are focused on affecting the greatest change they can, which is at the individual level, in our own lives, not pushing it on others.
It would be like me yelling at someone on the street saying I demand they enjoy the level of liberty that I hold for myself. Just not something that's going to happen.

I lost track if I've shared my thoughts on disavowal.
Anyone demanding someone to denounce a thing isn't trying to clarify the position, but to make the subject subservient to them; to lead them into agreeing on a series of increasing demands. If anyone came to me demanding that I denounce a person or group, regardless of who or what it was, I would say that I will not be bullied into being subservient to their agenda. I don't denounce people, I denounce bad ideas. I denounce ideology that treats people less than their full humanity deserves.
So previously when I knew nothing about Proud Boys, my reaction to being pressed to disavow them would be to say that I oppose any unlawful violence, looting, or destruction of property regardless of the group engaged in those activities.

Same problems at the procrastinators club.
IF they demand a disavowal THEN demand they apologize (it's a trap, never apologize).
cRiPpLe_rOoStEr — [citation needed] on the article I read saying African-Americans owe themselves reparations because they are the descendants of slave owners.
By the way, I have new neighbors. I wanted to commend them for parking their trailer beside the concrete pad instead of on it like the last two tenants, but they don't speak English. I don't even think it was Spanish, maybe Portuguese or Central American Indian. They looked pretty Mayan.
Americans are a polite culture. Do you think they would be offended if I try to use sign language? I know Charades is right out.

Sign language is not so uniform, not even between countries that share the same vocal language. Brazilian sign language used by deaf-mute people is reported to be closer to the French sign language than to the mainland Portuguese sign language. But I'm not sure if they would be offended.

They might think you had a stroke and got unable to speak. It's not an unusual situation. I used to see an old man in a wheelchair always accompanied by a caretaker in a park where I used to take my dog for morning walks, he became unable to speak and lost much of his body strenght after having a stroke, but when he met my dog he recovered some strenght on his hands and even tried to speak even though he would only whisper.

Just don't sign the universal OK sign, because that's racist.

Sounds like you've fallen for a 4chan troll. Shave your head, it's anti-fash!
At this point my concern is with Hope Hicks.

SJWs with their obsession to turn every aspect of the life of normal people into some sort of "oppression", not only limited to false complaints about "racism", leads to such levels of madness. Yet they turn a blind eye when real racism is directed toward white people, such as blacks referring to every white person as "German" or mistaking me for an Argentinian just because I am white when I go to the beach.
