That said, Dr. Campbell's latest video on the subject talks about studies showing evidence of efficacy when taken in doses as recommended.

The thing is, aspirin is more dangerous, so there's virtually no downside, but a possible upside.

Nobody is going to Trump for medical advice. Everyone knows he is hyperbolic.

That said, I watched this clip and there was no mention of bleach at all. ZERO. He spoke about UV as a disinfectant, which is true, spoke about how it can destroy the virus in seconds, which is true, and clumsily used the term "inject" to describe some unknown process of getting the UV light into the body where it may disinfect.

I think any non-expert would struggle to describe some method of targeting UV radiation internally and might end up saying inject rather than ingest, or inhale, or insert...

I'll continue to not follow legacy "news" because it's all a dumpster fire.

Conceptually, when I heard about internal UV disinfectant, it made sense to me. 1/4 of all people will have cancer treatment with x-ray photons from one of the machines my company manufacturers. It makes sense that perhaps UV photons could similarly be used.

The principle at work is that healthy tissue has strong mechanisms to repair damaged DNA, but cancer/viruses do not. Although UV may damage healthy DNA along with the virus, the healthy tissue will recover and the virus will not.

On a tangent, there's a protein that performs 3 incredible functions. First, it repairs damaged DNA. If it fails to repair the damage, it instructs the faulty cell to not reproduce. As a final precaution, it instructs an irrecoverable cell to die (apoptosis).

There were many words he didn't use. He didn't use the word bleach, and he didn't use the word Lysol, but Clorox and Lysol released statements that their products should not be taken internally. The FDA Commissioner came out against using disinfectants in or on yourself the same day of that video, and the next day the CPSC reminded everyone that cleaning products are poisonous. Why? because after talking about light he moved on to disinfectants. The two parts were quite separate. The next day he was asked specifically about it and he said he had asked "a very sarcastic question to the reporters in the room about disinfectant on the inside", explaining that he had asked it "just to see what would happen".

Yet you have a very firm opinion about what happened that is contradicted by the raw video and a subsequent transcript provided by people who work for him. As well as FDA, the CPSC and the companies that make disinfectants. Where do you get your information from? Its reliability is suspect.
