Or, to say it simply... Food is expensive. Let the Trolls buy their own.

I watched one of the first episodes of ST:TNG with JeanLuc Picard yesterday... Man, that was really advanced for it's time, but you can see every little incorrect detail if you're looking.
Sorry for OT!

A few members appreciated the work I put in and told the rest to get off my back if they didn't have anything smart to add to the discussion. What's especially nice is someone who appreciated my long, informative posts, even though he himself wasn't a supporter of grille blocks.
I also decided not to get into the details of A-B-A-B testing when a member said that he tried a grille block for 2-3 days and didn't see a difference, so it doesn't work.
EcoModder.com has a very high level of culture as far as discussions go (with Darin leading the way). Once you get used to it, going to another forum is sometimes like a bucket of cold water. We just have to do our best to stay at that level, where ever we are.

(Embarassed.) I'm no leader! I just try to follow the example of the moderator of the Electric Vehicle Discussion List! (EVDL = an old school e-mail discussion list.)
He works hard to keep things on topic, and actively (diplomatically) discourages posts/threads that don't contribute to the forum's purpose. Result: the EVDL has one of the best signal to noise ratios out there. EM's isn't as quite good as EVDL's but it's decent!

I like it here mostly because there is good information and great discussion normally, but there is a time and event for light hearted banter as well, and it's not actively chastised.
