Awesome! I also just entered a new fuel log fill... no new record for me, but I am loving the speedier speeds the CX transmission makes possible. BTW, on my new "Black & Green" build thread I am working on aero mods this summer, design and testing, most of which will I hope be of interest and use to anyone with the coupe (and probably sedan) body shape of the fifth and sixth and possibly seventh gen Civic: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...upe-26069.html. I'm testing a an aft box cavity soon, hopefully tomorrow.

Very nice, and all you have done for mods is the LEDs and battery charging from the grid, correct? What are your average speeds?

Average speed is about 22 mph. That's p&g in 35, 45 and 55 mph speed limits, plus stops along the way.
I'm actually not grid-charging this car right now. I might in winter, but I've taken steps to reduce the need for that - the LEDs and eco headlights. It's not quite enough, but a top-up every month keeps it going. I've not tracked the power used for that.
I disabled the automatic DRL's by pulling the fuse.
Tires at 55 front / 50 rear psi. The tail gets a little sideways-happy any higher than that - very UNlike the civic with its perpetual understeer.

Best trip leg so far.
I've got a manual steering rack sitting in my garage that I'm DYYYYYYYING to drop in. I can't wait to see the impact of not having power steering. I also need to get off my keister and put my belly pan on. And do wheel spats. And attach the lawn edging I bought last night at HD....ugh, so much to do.
I removed the rear bumper a few weeks ago to see if it helped at all, but since I don't A-B-A, i have no clue if it helped.

Just joined Team Honda. Have been lurking for awhile now and decided to participate in this community of gas sippers. Honda technician by trade (20yrs). Will do what I can to help the team as much as I can.
Waiting on results (next fill up) to see how well my kill switch works. I should have refilled that same day but time did not permit. 280miles on a half tank so far. We'll see what happens.

Welcome, wolydotmatrix!
Looks like you have a good start with some mods already done, driver (re)training in progress, and more good mods planned.
Hope it all goes very well!

Now, with lawn edging side skirts & air dam! I might have gotten over 90 if I hadn't swung by the Walgreens drive-thru.
