Last time I checked 350 kW chargers where a thing, sadly very few cars support that charging rate.
IIRC only the Porsche Taycan and Audi Eteon GT can charge that fast as of now while Tesla is falling behind at some 250 kW maximum.

Obviously the 350 kW can't be used for the last few percent of charge, but it gets you to 80% very quickly.
That's why you can see Taycans going >200 km/h for the E-cannonball.

JIS (good luck finding tools for that...)

And most maintainance procedures make VAG products look harmless.
Disassembling the entire rear suspension and dropping the entire drivetrain to change a clutch or an alternator is a whole new level.
And for sparkplugs I need to remove sone structural parts, most importantly the rear strut tower reinforcement.

I've worked on Audis, I've worked on the notorious 924S and a lot of other things.
I can't say Toyota designes cars for easy maintainance.
It is important to remember that when manufacturers plan for service that plan for it to be done by trained dealership staff, with a full set of tools, and a lift to make access easier. VERY few people work on their own cars.

Reminds me of one of my first vehicles, a Honda Accord (80's?) that I had for a short while. I wondered why on earth did they put the oil filter on the rear of the engine where you could see it through the spaces in the intake manifold, but had absolutely no way of reaching it without lifting up the front of the car and crawling all the way under it and then reaching way up the engine block.

Changing the oil filter on a Gen III Prius is a messy and awkward affair. It gets easier with practice, but always messy. Still, VW is the most initially annoying manufacturer I've ever worked on. Performance comes at the cost of ease of maintenance, so it's understandable that those valuing performance would be willing to pay extra for it (either in time or money).

Well, I ended up having to mostly rebuild the engine without taking out the block.
That's not the easiest thing to put it mildly...
