What do you guys think? This thing is already kind of choppy, but it could possibly do okay with a little lowering...

I love that you posted this thread just minutes after the first answer to your identical thread at cleanmpg
Thinking of lowering... - CleanMPG Forums
I guess you Didnt like their answers and you didn't like the answers here either.
I also find it amusing that you posted about a grill block back in January, didn't make one because you have no tools, but post about chopping springs.

You do realize how extremely mature this makes you look, right?
Oh... Wait... You drive an Infiniti. (There's some generalized insults for you. Looks like you enjoy those.)
Haha. If you are the type of person that this forum attracts, then this is NOT the place for me. You, sir, are going to be a very lonely person throughout your life.

I posted here to gain other peoples' opinions. And I thank you for them. What's wrong with getting as many peoples' opinions as possible? Also, notice how much more informative and helpful they were.
Also, I did post about grille blocks. It is on my list. Why did I say I did not have tools? I didn't have tools. Nor do I now. However, we recently moved to a new state and I work and live near a family member that has a boat-load of tools.
By the way, I'm not doing the spring cutting. Never said I was...

lowering the rear - only
lowering the rear of the car did help one metro owner
who made a video and tested his car on a highway , one time with his regular tires and one time with two smaller spare doughnut type tires
he surmised the improvement was due to decreased rolling resistance of the little doughnut spares
but
METRO MPG inadvertantly proved that guess to be false with his test on rolling distance es with various tires including doughnut spares
yet there was a measured difference / improvement in FE with the rear of the car slightly lowered with the smaller OD tires
i swag it was due to an aerodynamic improvement , a smaller signature to the wind
a wee bit of searching on this forum should provide those posts

Haha, I don't see how I have been "schooled." Some of you assumed things. I showed you otherwise.
I guess some have different definitions of "schooling." By the way, this is worse than the Focus forum where half of the population is grammer-challenged teenagers.
