Yeah, everybody that live in the country really enjoys when passers-through leave an extra measure of noise in their wake. That's why they live out there of course.

Yeah, I guess if you have a place in the suburbs, a farm and a cabin in the woods you have to put up with everything.
Street traffic is muted by a gated fence here, but it's the railyards. If the Amtrak isn't high-balling out of town, they are slamming boxcars together in the switch yard. At midnight.
For the mandatory excessive noise electric cars will require, I suggest a rising Shephard tone. It would sound like it's coming at you even when it's going away.
And blue dots in the tail lights.

You sure as hell do. :/
When flying over the desert I noticed it looks "deserted". I suppose I could go to some gawd-forsaken, completely inhospitable place and maybe catch a break from motorized mayhem.

Some fool would fly over you in an airplane.
My brother took the opposite approach. He lives in a hole in the water in the Sea of Cortez.

Your video made me think of the Primitive Technology channel on Youtube.
Instead of the aluminum boat and steel tools, he starts with a pair of pants and his bare hands. He's up to a tile roof and a forge. He gets iron ore from bacteria in the stream.
