Sheep aren't worth anything anyhow. The wool market collapsed when I was a kid, and I doubt it recovered.

Back then it was Nutria. Farmers just turned them loose. In the 1990s I had one living in a culvert in front of the house.

Also, at night, I sometimes flash my high beams repeatedly if I see one stationary near the road.
Both seem to help them out of "deer in the headlights" mode. |

Looks like, in the USA for 2019, 38,800 were killed, and 4.4-million seriously injured in traffic accidents. If BEVs as a whole constitute 1% of the vehicles on the road, then there's a whole bunch of non-autonomous fatalities out there.

With no infrared emission, the Tesla may not have even recognized the lifeless dummy as a sentient being.
