Impressive!! Congrats Vekke!
Next step could be ask Volkswagen to give you a free gearbox with the ratio you want, or better a free 0.8 tdi with DSG trans and electric motor, as in the vw XL1...

I have some better Engine hp to EV hp ratio in mind that vw did in their XL1. They could do it so much better but someone has to show how its done properly .

There is only one problem that I dont have the money to build my lupo how I would want but even bigger challenges will come from the next project money wise. From engineering point of view its quite ready and specs will come later to new topic.

Again bar is set higher than any OEMs eco models have now. They seem to think 4 liters is good for small car and 6 liters if car is little bit bigger. So do people as they havent seen the light and dont know what they could buy.

They seem to think Lupos two liter stickers is some kind of sick joke and when I tell them its still faster than GTI golf they almost start to laugh :/.

Yes I have pondered that kickstarter for ziptie plug but you need to live in certain places of the world and Finland is not one of them. So if there happens to be voluntary people who could help me in that it would be appreciated and also compensated If/when we get the money. People can contact with private message or email which is found from Eco tuning --> Tuneko Ltd | Aerodynamic parts that lower fuel consumption

I have also started to think moving to other country as finnish goverment/banks or local business angels does not appreciate entreprenouship at all. I wont get a even one cent to fund my company at the moment.

Next car project does not take so much money to begin, but the EV stuff aint cheap what I will propably need which will be custom setup propably. Carprojects are sideproducts at the moment and money will come from those inventions but if I cant get the next product to market then there will not be nothing new to tell or release.

Biggest success of this weekend is here. I was able to reach 3.8 liter fuel consumption at 140 km/h avg speed. That is very good result as my gear ratios are not even close what they should be. Engine sees it like I am in fourth gear so taller gear ratios would help a lot. Check the gear ratio graphic.

Drived also on track:

And one standing mile which end speed was poor 191 km/h due to short shifting. Quarter mile was pretty good 15.310 s.

Vekke, is there a reason why you left the passenger seat belt when you took out the passenger seat? Are you planning on putting the seat back?

I was only half kidding, in all seriousness, what about your headliner? Have you considered removing that and/or whatever is inside of it?

EDIT: Sorry Euromodder, I guess that's what you meant by ceiling. Vekke, what does the 'backseat' and hatch look like?

There is still unecessary weight in the car up to 30 kg which still can be removed or replaced with glasfiber parts. Actually that is the reason why I didint put my ecomodder stickers on. Now I have abandoned the idea of glasfiber fenders so installed the stickers on .

Passenger seatbelt is still there if I need to give ride to some reporters etc. Front seat can be put in place in 3 minutes if needed.

Ceiling is my roof headliner I think...
