Ultragauge avg speed 90.0 km/h. This was little slower drive speeds than previous best as cars fuel consumption gauge avg showed 2.3 liter figures.
Still throttle control not tweaked and power software in which is tricky in accelerations.
Weather +21 celsius and road +40 celsius.
There is a chance of fillup error, but usually they are to other direction. Next tests will reveal more

Good work Vekke keep it up and you will beat the 2L mark soon enough

Today was not warm enough for fuel record attemps. it was +16 celsius and I was able to reach 2.25 liter fuel consumption on short test. Anyway it was otherwise nice weather and decided to make some performance tests. So enjoy .
Weather seems to be cold at least next week so cannot reach that two liters any time soon. Some mods to ECU are coming which should help. I havent tried yet any record with full P&G which should work better as I havent had the money to buy 30% taller gear ratios...

Will it be custom-made gearings or from an existing model? Some Audis with huge diesel engines have over 80 km/h at 1000 rpm I think.
You must be at low load now with the impressive power your engine is putting out. If your car needs 8,9 hp at 100 km/h and your engine has 58,1 hp (215 Nm x 1900 rpm) at 1900 rpm, that's only 15% load.

Under two liters for the first time. Result was 1.94 l/100km at 86.9 km/h avg speed that is 121.07 mpg (US) at 54 MPH. Overfilled the tank so fuel flowed to ground so it sure was full.

Wow. And that's a great pic of the current exterior. Love the apparent quality of the mods: the chopped section of the aft body to lower the roof line, the rear view mirror fairing on the window, the distinction lines on the kamm back, the clean look of the wheel covers, and the general clean lines of the mods... at least as much as can be seen in a relatively low res photo... congrats.
What's next?

Next is full push and glide with 100 km/h avg speed attempt with that 2 liter fuel consumption. ECU program needs still some tweaks to get that push and glide mode working properly. Target boost for ECO acceleration is set to 1.0-1.1 bar where exhaust back pressure should still be reasonable --> that should lead to good efficiency
