As a metric system user, I'm more easily impressed... by HALF A MILLION KM!

(Equals 311k miles.)

My 95 Saturn had 258,000 miles on it when I sold it right before winter.

I hope it's still running, I love that car!!

The highest mileage car I owned was my 76 280Z, but the engine, transmission and rear end were changed. I sold it with 200k for $6000. It was still on the road and in nice shape ten years later, with about 50k more. I was tempted to buy it back.

The Sentra at 185k is probably the next highest odometer reading, about 300k kilometers. I've bought wrecked cars with under 300 miles when they were totalled.

regards

This Echo. 251k and counting. Ol girl should have 300k in her, and probably more, at least as the engine goes. I'd be a bit more concerned about the transmission which would total the car out.

My insight has 312k, but I drove a Toyota Tacoma with 724k miles on it. The most sloppy trans I have ever had to shift.

I have an Astro van with 499975 KMs / 310484 miles.

My friend sold an '89 CX just like mine, but his had 695k KMs / 431k miles, he actually got money for it, and it lasted the new owner another year.

The highest mileage car I have ever ridden in was a Cadillac one of my low-rider friends bought. It was a '95 Fleetwood, it had 730k KMs / 453k miles. That thing was SCARY wasted! Like I wanted him to pull over and let me walk home bad. He bought it with a dead battery so the ODO wouldn't light up until he got it home. He ended up getting like $2800 for it as it was black with a black interior which is ultra rare in those cars, but the guy that bought it had to change the frame etc. Seems like a lot of work on the wrong car to me haha.
