That's pretty neat, a spiral staircase in a motorhome. Commercial or one-off custom?

They could have cut the slanted side windows to match the angle of the A-pillar, and used a 2nd set of those windshields laid back a bit over the first two. And blistered the A/C.

Oh, and an electric Myers Manx with fold-down windshield and roll bar in the storage bins.

That EAGLE bus might have benefitted more with gearing changes and a solid 6V DETROIT DIESEL rebuild.

The metric is nights aboard over X-miles and Y-years of use . . with all these moho's, come up with those numbers as against a trailed vehicle and space trade-offs and then moho aero might have a starting point.

You all do realize that putting the cart before the horse -- "I want a moho [unexamined assumptions]" -- is where the money disappeared down a hole. Smart Spec trumps Smart Use every time.

Go big or go home, and do it in aero style. Supercar garage included.

I like the toned-down Colani-ness of the nose.

I'd settle for a Cab Over Engine Dodge Ram, fifth-wheel made from a shipping container and an electric Meyers Manx with a folding windshield and roll bar.

If your curious about the company and construction details, Youtube offers next:

UPDATE: I found some interesting Vixen photos, plus a good article.

Speaking of that front end, see how aerodynamic it is underneath? Not only did it have a .29 coefficient of drag, the Vixen was advertised to achieve up to 30mpg on the highway, Phil gets around 28/22 mpg city/highway.

I have known about the smaller Gulfstream Montaj motorhome of a few years ago. Never bothered to read the brochure though.

http://www.gulfstreamcoach.com/Montaj%20layout.pdf

On page 7 (of the pdf, pages aren't actually numbered) is a "Driveability" section. It has some shadow drawings of the Montaj and a typical Class A (like mine). They claim 33% less wind resistance.

No, not earth shattering, and not really very aerodynamic. But on topic here in this thread.

And do I believe the 13 MPG claims? Nope. But it would surely beat my 8 MPG @ 60 MPH. Imagine what it could have done with a more Vixen like shape...

I wonder what the story is behind that.
