...you update your status on facebook with "One more trip to Lowes and I shall have a smooth belly."

and the very first comment is from a 50-something mother of one of your friends; "your car...right?"

After hearing about the aero benefit of using a tankbag, I'm now tending to use it even when empty w no other purpose! Now I'm wondering if the basketball I have net bungied on the passenger seat is helping to clean my rear air!!??!! CB400!

I visited honda-tech. It's all about ground-scraping, vtec-revving, fast-n-furious stuff. I am amazed to see someone asking about swapping in a tall-geared VX transmission for the gas mileage. (they usually swap the other way for "performance")

Then I see that it's someone from this site. Hi California98Civic!

11-mile commute: 100 mpg - - - Tank: 90.2 mpg / 1191 miles

You Know You're An Ecomodder When;

...You stop mid step while walking past the shipping dept because you noticed a large, unfolded, unstapled, non holed sheet of cardboard, and the shipper says," It's all yours. What you building today?" , before you utter a sound.

...Your friend in the body shop walks from his bay to where you are working( almost 100 yards) to give you two aluminum 20" half circle cutouts that he just made while cutting in a truck rear body panel, and says," I thought you might want these for your car." (Basjoos front wheel skirts, here I come!)

...You actually put a tail on your car!!!!!

It is always very amusing how our imagination is put to the test when overcoming reality. Redyaris

After having read 111 pages it surprises me that nobody mentioned:

YKYAEM when you actually use the phrase "A good tank".

Maybe all you foreigners do it all the time? I have never heard it in Sweden anyway.
