YKYAEM when you can provide your fuel consumption in mpg US, mpg Imp., L/100km, and Km/L to everyone who comes over to ask you about your ecomodded motorcycle while refueling at the gas station.

YKYAEM if...
... You simulate road-rage and tailgate a truck which cut you off just to get the aero advantage for a few seconds.

... you discover that ringing your car's bell (!) at squirrels approaching the road will cause them to turn tail and head back where they came from.

(Two so far! These days they're pretty busy running around carrying/burying nuts.)

... when the paper boy asks, "why is there duct tape all over your car?"

And the answer, "science experiments!" is apparently good enough for him.

When in a conversation MPG comes up and when you state your MPG you make the number about 10 less than your actual because you know they are going to think you are a liar!...I know you've done it before..: )

ykyaem when you get booted off of other make/model specific forums as a troll, and after receiving numerous abusive posts, for accurately reporting your mpg, and you could care less

YKYAEM when you see a stretched Hummer limosine and your first thought is, "Hmm, I'll bet with a few mods and some careful hypermiling I could probably get 25 mpg out of that beast!"

YKYAEM...
Driving wife's automatic PT Crusier home from happy hour and dinner. Not hypermilling (5 mile drive, chatting with wife, had 2 beers). Stop at a red light. Light turns green. Guy next to me starts engine ---- Wife taps me on the shoulder "Anyone you know?"

If you got 25MPG in a Hummer the C02/Gallons Per Person would be lower than a Prius. Now if only every limousine was filled with 20 people.

hummm... dare I mention memories of the 60's and how many people can be stuffed into a VW beetle or Telephone booth, without being called a lier, because as Grace Slik of the Jefferson Airplane/Starship said, "... if you can remember the 60's, you weren't there..."?
