When it's 103 degrees outside, so you take the old US route where the trees give you some shade which drops the ambient temperature to 96 and you can pulse your AC compressor and then leave it on recirculate with the compressor off most of the time, expecially when coasting down grades for several tenths of a mile. Low fan speed and comfortable.

YKYAEM if...
... You tell your neighbor that one of the bulbs in her headlight has burned out, and she stares you straight in the eye and in a mocking voice replies " I'm reducing my electrical load"

YKYAE
if you sell your gas pig of a vehicle, buy, modify and drive a fuel sipper that triples the previous vehicles mpg.

YKYAEM if you just cannot imagine getting a low of the combined fuel economy stated by the EPA. Not in city driving, not ever. Until you ride with a "normal" person and reel at the wasted energy... *sigh*

She did! This was shortly after a little lecture on block heaters, but I didn't even mention electrical loads!
I see ecomodding in your future, ma'am...

This. On my FIRST TANK with my Yaris, with low PSI tires (31ish PSI) (before I knew any better. I joined this site because I bought it) I STILL got more than EPA.

YKYAEM when you make a Facebook post bragging about how your cost-per-mile dropped from $0.11 to $0.10
