You want to kick yourself in the butt for not having filled up completely before setting out on a trip that shows record breaking MPG on both the OBC (4.0 L/100km - 58.8 mpg) and ScanGauge (4.2 L/100km - 56 mpg)

Tailwind today, weather report says headwind tomorrow, so you leave a day early. My brother did exactly that three weeks ago.

You can't remember the last time you bought your own gas, because you drive your car so little, and people need it more than you, and offer to buy it for you in exchange.

YKYAEM...

... when you see the "Fuel Saving" gizmos at your local *Mart (Walmart, K-Mart, Save-Mart, etc) and 1) you already know they don't do squat, and 2) you already know the background story behind each one (the 'theory', the claimed 'improvements', the debunking of the claims, etc.)

... and you can visualize each of the gizmos in a pink corral...

YKYAEM if you are proud to simply reply "no" when someone ask you if you are using additives or a "Fuel Saving" gizmo to reach such consumption

then you think that this is the result of 2 years of work, slowly improving mpg after mpg and overall a lot of fun

and you tell him to apply what his driving teacher told him : anticipation, to learn anticipation just drive without brakes.

Have fun,

Denis.

... Someone asks: "What are all those aeromods for when you're always driving so slow?"

To be able to have both better 0-60mph & max speed than your 200+hp car

... You ask someone in a parking lot: "Excuse me, where do you buy your gas so cheap that you can waste it by idling for over 20 minutes?"

Good thing I was on my bike, so I was quickly increasing the distance between us before he got out of the car!
I wonder if that got him thinking? Nah!
