YouTube Views and speaker fee

Two fun success milestones in my life:

I just broke 2 million total views on my YouTube account. Almost all of my videos are on electric cars, clean transportation, renewable energy, and other DIY projects!

Also, I just got my first PAID speaker fee for talking about DIY Electric motorcycle design at an upcoming local energy fair event!

While I have spoken NATIONALLY at the MREA and Mother Earth News events, they don't pay me!

Anyways, I'm pretty excited about it.

Just saying that I am actually getting paid. I guess "paid speaker fee" is repetition for emphasis.

I've been doing lots of presentations that I haven't gotten paid for. Of course they are fun, and I like getting the word out there, but I gotta earn a living too!

I remeber the first time I was asked to write and teach a Continuing Legal Education class for Attorneys.... (I'm not one)
There were 55 attorneys who paid $300 to be there for 8 hours.
I had written 70% of the material.
I was a wreck the nite before.......after the first 15 minutes I realized I REALLYwas the smartest person in the room!! lol
