Please! Not the big H

I tried to pry mine off, but it was on there really tight!

Once you get rid of that H, I'll bet a piece of plastic or coroplas could be placed on top of that mesh. RTV it. Tape to hold it down while the glue cures.
It's bound to be a bit more aerodynamic.

My temps are up only 9-10 degrees celsius. My rad fans still have not kicked on. The highest I got was 90 (194 F)

Yeah I might put some kind of tape on the front and start with some kind of silcone or RTV from the back. Smooth it out as best I can. Put some painters tape to hold till it sets up. Then sand and paint with some black spray. Heck if it turns out too bad I could always buy some replacement insert that they make for about a $100.

Good question. Blocking the entire air inlet area may be risky on hot days. Keep a very close eye on the temperature gauge.

Could you make at least one opening "operable" with a choke cable from the driver's seat? Close it up on cool days or at high speeds, and leave it open for city and hot weather driving. Best of both worlds.

I'll have to try to sneak some behind the grille if they are worth it
I got about 2 percent on the lower grill block. I created a thread on the topic and documented my results. http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...ivic-1822.html
