I live in Turkey. And the toilets have like a mini jet of water to wash your a-hole.

However, were I to install something, I much prefer the Finnish system.

Usually bathrooms are constructed in such a manner that you can reach the faucet while seated on the throne. The wash process is as follows:

1- Reach to the faucet and adjust desired water temperature appropriate for anus.
2- Take mini shower head while faucet is running.
3- Aim mini shower head at desired location.
4- Press button on mini shower head and the water running from the faucet is automatically redirected to the mini shower head.
5- Perform cleansing until posterior is squeaky clean.

The world is reaping the world wind of the backwards and unhygienic behavior Wuhan China ... To further compound that issue airlines and cruise ships transported the outbreak and general unhygienic public of that outcrop everywhere....The outbreak started on Dec 2019 in Wuhan wet market (filthy and unhygienic place) In Jan 2020 WHO Dr Tedros visited China XI Ping CCP the meeting of these two clowns further compounding the worlds health outlook....

To stop some of this some of the simple basic things should have happen and never took place

China citizens, China CCP, China Nationals traveling abroad enforced stopped

Airlines and cruise ships create UV germicide booth, issue PPE, increase sanitize zones, Testing, etc

One guy from New Jersey (Italian heritage) just had to snow ski in Italy...upon his return to the USA ...carried Covid 19 and infected his parents ,,extended family,, church members all with community spread and struggles for his own health...

Seems a superior solution since it minimizes the extra hardware required. Unfortunately none of my toilets are anywhere near the sink, although some are not far from the shower.

Adding a bidet that does warm water + dry requires an outlet nearby. I'd have to add an outlet to get my wife to even consider a bidet.

Probably in the future we'll look back on current US culture and view it similar to how we view outhouses and the Sears catalogue.
