Here's one I missed, and an ambitious potential project for some prodigious Ecomodder it is too: the Neon Aviat Concept. The press release says the got the 3/8ths model down to a Cd of 0.20 Any takers?

Looks like a Neon with reduced trunk space.

As Frank Lee would probably say, put one wheel in the rear, and loose all that stuff hanging out in the air, Oh but the handling! Actually, I was going to use a similar concept on my X-Prize car as the Neon, although with smaller air "tunnels" inboard of the rear wheels. The overall drag is still worse than if the sides of the car stay solid past the rear wheels, as on the Probe, EV-1, etc.

Here is a pic of this Rumpler in a wind tunnel (see attached). Maybe this is from the 1979 VW test that the wikipedia entry says found a Cd value of .28?

An aerial view would be great, but I doubt one exists.

Three things may be helping the numbers:
* a very clean underbody,
* relatively large clearance between the ground and the underbody,
* relatively narrow bodywork.
