Yup, I think Cagney & Lacey drove one. (If you got that you watched way too much TV in the '80s). I can see an old ad of that Nash in my head that I have seen somewhere, but I just can't read it!

what is the year/make/model of this:
OB Eco: note the reduced area rearview mirror.

The race driver was Nuvolarri I think as my tortured old mind popped out just a minuter ago. Nash made an ambassador and other large cars but for the life of me I can't remember what they were. The other tanks were Mercury's, lincoln's, and the famous hudson's.

The Dumb and Dumber Doggy Truck?
That's a Ford E series.
Looks pre 92, old square body style.
The wheels give it away.

Definately close enough. You'd have to really know your Nash's to spot the difference between an Ambassador and a Statesman (the latter has a shorter front end).
This particular car is a 1950 Nash Statesman coupe. A little custom work, but not much... these bathtubs are pretty clean completely stock.
They reportedly got 30mpg as well. Not shabby for a full size car from 1950.

Very good, it was an 84 econoline, but close enough for our purposes, take it away CS1

This is where I think ALL fillers should be! We need more automotive attention to beauty, especially when it's this easily done!

I'm not sure that's a good idea, not practical anyway. I know at least three people who couldn't find the filler in their car. In two of those cases it was a borrowed car, and the filler cap was well hidden by blending it into the side's bodywork (gaps, creases, etc.). I can't remember what car make/model it was.
