When it rains, it pours. Haven't seen any of these up close, then in the last two days I have seen two!

This one was rough though. 2012 with 12k KMs. It had snow tires which seemed kind of odd, especially in May around here. And it was filthy and beat up inside. These cars start at $32k for a new one, but whoever had this one treated it like an old beater. Too bad.

Dang, with all the hybrids I see here, you still have me beat when it comes to spotting Leafs! They are just rare items here I guess. I missed out on a 2002 Prius with 200k KMs today for $1900! I didn't actually see it, someone called me and asked if I wanted it, but I was at the auction so I didn't hear my phone ring. By the time I called back, he had sold it already. Someone out there got a sweet deal!

Status update: The Volt count is over 5 now, and similar for the Priuc C. There are 3-4 Leafs now, with two i see regularly going in the opposite direction to work. No Mievs, or Tesla's. 2-3 Cmax hybrids. Half a dozen Smart cars. Saw a toyota Avalon Hybrid today? This is a good sign that people are buying with their wallets. It's been 13 years since the Introduction of Hybrids and EV's, and if this is just the beginning then the future looks good! There are historical pictures in the shops in town. All the cars change dramatically by era.

I stumbled upon an EV charger station today. I knew there was one in a different town, but this was a surprise to me.

Well, lookee here!

Pics or it didn't happen!

----

Look what I spotted in my sleepy town yesterday evening...

I'm guessing the owner was visiting from Ottawa, which is ~100 km / 60 away. A comfortable round-trip journey in this thing.

I saw a TH!NK City today. This is a stock image, as I was driving on the freeway and didn't think pictures would be a good idea.

Never seen one of these before! It was kind of cool.

WARNING - ECO-CARNAGE! Not for the faint of heart!

These aren't mine by the way, so don't blame me!

These were used as yard vehicles at one of the auctions. They all failed for various reasons, and nobody bothered fixing them. They are all 2wd models, otherwise I would have grabbed one to try and fix it. They have been sitting there for 3 or 4 years.

5 speed Fox. I bought it for someone in either 2003 or 2005, and it's been sitting there ever since. He sold those fancy wheels off it, but the guy he sold them to hasn't ever bothered to pick them up. Ya, that crowd works at a slower speed lol.
