Lol. Its a dude in his late 40s or so. If I ever see it around with him in it, I'll see if it's for sale, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's had it since new, it just has that "1 owner that doesn't really care anymore" look to it.

As long as it's not in the hands of some random kid intending to rice it out, it's OK

Saw my first "wild" Leaf on the road the other day. There's one (or maybe two) I've seen around that are owned by the local power company, but this was the first "civilian" one.

Ok this is cheating. But apparently I put in in storage in November. Of 2011?? Put a newer 12V battery in it today, hit the key, and - nothing. Hmmm. Waited a minute, tried again, then the 12 volt starter kicked in and it fired right up. Man Honda overbuilt these things! Took it to the shop, scrubbed the moss off of it, then drove it 20 miles to the movie studio that rented it off me to use in background shots of a movie they are shooting. I forgot how fun these things are, when I get it back in a few weeks I think it's getting insured again.

I also saw the same MiEV I keep seeing, and again he was going the other way on the road. I'll get him...one day lol.

You rent cars for movie productions?

What scifi movie needed a car from the future in it?

More like I hoard stuff, and every once in a while it pays for itself to some degree lol. And believe it or not, the Insight will be getting dressed to look like it's been abandoned for a few 100 years. They took a bunch of other weird stuff off me too, a '97 Firefly, a '94 Civic, and a '91 Tracker amongst them. So maybe they have an eco-nerd picking their background cars? Lol, I don't know if I am under some NDA with the rentals, so I will err on the side of caution. But it has a bunch of famous people and will be released next year. And I will be there on opening night, going "Hey that's my lil' spaceship!!" lol

Neat. Well you have to remember to bump this thread when you can talk about it or the movie comes out!

Well, every film (American or not) is filmed in Canada these days, so it could be anything! Quick question, whats that white splotch just ahead of the drivers side door?

Yeah, and not interesting, either. I can see one of those by looking out my front window :-)

All I can afford is a geo prizm.

There is a grey and a blue insight in ojai.
I want an insight because I'm going to have to start driving 140 miles a day when I transfer to a 4 year college for my engineering major.
