With that in mind they very rightly point out that we have no reason to judge their emission levels especially when CO2 accumulation in the atmosphere is cumulative and the VAST majority of CO2 and other greenhouse gases emitted over the last century came from the US and Europe.
The emissions per capita argument is weak. It's like someone claiming a moral high ground because their 3 equally driven cars each get 50 MPG meanwhile my 1 car only gets 25. It completely ignores the other half of the CO2 equation.

Meanwhile, as the tree is metaphorically threatening to fall on all of us, they want to argue that although they are currently pushing the tree the hardest, others were pushing in the past.

Either the tree is threatening to crush us all, or it's not. If it is, it doesn't matter who used to be pushing on it, only who currently is.

weak

I just figure that only a full accounting of greenhouse gas emissions will tell the tale.
Termites, rice fields, hydrofracking, pipeline leaks, HFCs, polar permafrost methane release, manufacturing, propellants, mining releases, chlorine, etc..

Rhett Allain. Bill Gates pointed out that China has used 6.6 gigatons of cement in the last three years compared to 4.5 gigatons the USA has used in 100 years. Not only is that a lot of cement, it ...
Concrete is a big contributor to CO2 and they build empty cities because it pays out.

How ?

They place a processing ship in international waters. They then send the trawlers inside territorial waters to illegally catch the fish. Every year authorities catch a few ships and confiscate the fish and fine them. However, fines are built in as the cost of doing business and the ones caught are only a drop in a bucket compared to the boats that avoid being caught.
Chinese processing ships were already navigating on Brazilian territorial waters, not even resorting to trawlers with a more convenient flag.

• A house that is ventilated by the wind and heated by the Sun, don't need no stinkin' electrical pumps and heat exchangers full of microbial threats.

• The apex of an hemispherical structure has the local maximum wind speed at it's summit. The larger the dome, the faster the local air speed.

Yes. But the centerline in this design is unusable art space:

That is valuable space. I'm particular to a spiral staircase wrapped around a pneumatic elevator.
