Before flexfuels became usual in my country, I remember some folks tried to use ethanol in gasoline-powered cars without further mods, believing the EFI would have the ability to "fix" the AFR. I wouldn't try it, even though EFI really makes it easier for most vehicles to also handle better the much-higher ethanol content of Brazilian gasoline without further mods compared to carburettors...

If you want to minimize the effects of headwinds and tailwinds on your car, install an airspeed indicator so that you can compare your airspeed to your ground speed. This lets you determine when you are in a head/tail wind situation, so you can drop your ground speed to compensate for the added drag of a headwind or increase your ground speed, if desired, to take advantage of a tailwind. Also, if you are in a drafting situation, it lets you know the best position for optimum drafting effect. Airspeed indicators sold for ultralight aircraft cover the usual highway speeds.

I turned down a free hand-held anemometer at a swap meet once, and I've been kicking myself ever since.

A permanent row of tufts down the center of the hood might tell the tale.

Thats $0.80/kwh. Our provider went bank rupt a little bit earlier so our price is a little lower but not by much.

1Mil BTU= $94.60.

Both for a 1 year contract

Cheapest gas E10 $9.23 a gallon thats the cheapest station in about 30 miles radius. Average price $10.11 a gallon.

Prices are nuts everywhere. Lets hope it will turn around, but i dont think so.

looks like we are seeing a turn around here locally $5.33 it was 5.69 a couple of weeks ago(same station)

the next cheapest station is $5.79 0.46 more

Just checked the gas station is $5.29... by next week at this rate it will be under $5 a gallon

Some 20 years ago I installed an aircraft airspeed indicator on my F250 truck that I still use for towing a travel trailer. It registers up to 100 MPH, which is more than sufficient for my needs.

The airspeed registers exactly the same as the speedometer's ground speed when it's calm, but in a blowing wind the instrument really shows the effect the wind has on drag, both positive and negative.

I will also say that the airspeed indicator needle really gets busy in heavy traffic with all the moving objects passing by the vehicle.
