School bus perhaps, slip rent was 3 times the cost of an apartment last I looked, live aboard even pricier and MUCH rarer.

How does one aquire alloidial title and did it include Koresh/ militia style holding?

Right up until the bus or boat breaks down. If you live a mobile life with no place to return and no way to buy back into normal society - you are homeless. Come to Portland - we have plenty of both rubber and water tramps. (We had 3 broken boat in front of my office until the recent rains swept them down the river)

I follow Bob Wells (cheap RV living) who has been living mobile for 15 years or so. He is a huge proponent of the mobile lifestyle but even he bought a piece of land because modern life dictates you have a home address and old age isn't pretty for the homeless.

LOL - I'm sure living in a company town will be the model of freedom when you even have to buy your air from the company.

It was only speculation, I've never had either. I did have a motor home and it was a hole [not in the water] to throw money in.

I settled on an R-license park model trailer, and it hasn't moved since [prolly] 1962.

I provided a link for alloidal title. IIRC it was common for medieval ecclesiastical lands, and is most used today in France. It's at Permalink #1000.

I'll barter with water.

Or get Arnold to supply air for free.

Ingeresting that the wiki had a specific portion for Nevada. Thanks. Unfortunately the title doesn't transfer upon death/inheritance.

Our boss announced many exiting new horrible changes.

We need to submit our iPads again. They will return them after they update them again.

When they updated them before I wasn't able to use them for work, so I turned it off, put it in a metal filing cabinet, bought Mom a new iPad, and have used hers for work.

Then I bought her another iPad so she would stop complaining.

She wants to keep both.

Will they restore its functionality?

Either way, I already replaced it.

The state has been threatening to make us log in and out for each session and apparently they will finally do it--and slash teletherapy pay.

Half of my clients are virtual!

We will also need to have the parents install our app, create accounts, and sign off on all of our paperwork--or we don't get paid.

We are going to drop clients because their families won't cooperate.

As if getting paid for our work wasn't enough motivation, Boss announced a raffle.

"If you get twenty families to sign off you get twenty tickets!"

I work for two agencies, but rarely get new clients, while that SLP who hates men has 3 SLPs working in the area.

I don't talk to two of them. I have never met one of them, but the one I know has over twenty clients, so there are clients in the area.

My agencies just aren't getting them.

That SLP doesn't have an office or office staff. She just responds to vendor calls when she gets to it.

My main employer just hired a third client getter.

A lot of good they are doing!

It looks like I need to get something like this $200 automotive cell phone booster.

Then when my client's family calls when I am driving up saying "We have covid! We need to do Zoom!" I will say "No problem, but I need to be in your driveway."

It will be weird when they say "We are out of town! We need to do Zoom!"

I was just trying to figure out if I could rotate the cell phone holder because my clients always do teletherapy in landscape, but eventually I found the note that it cannot boost zero signal.

I was hoping having a bigger signal higher would help.

One of them doesn't have a good internet connection, so I couldn't sit on their porch.
We just cancel when they have extenuating circumstances, which happens regularly?

Sounds like motivation to do something different, or do the same thing somewhere else.

Nobody makes you do anything, you voluntarily agree to it.
