It seems quick because of the time spent off-site making all those dovetails. And the holes for the pegs and chamfering all the pegs.

Here is what you could do with three shipping containers, two engineered roofing trusses and stick-framed rafters

40x40 + 8x40 equals 1920sq ft.

Why would you cut and stack rafters since everything could be engineered trusses?

I used to do estimating for a roofing truss company. I hate on them.

In fact I revise the description to two timber-frame gables.

Oops, sorry. Ok cut and stack with timber frame gables. Why not make it just a two plane roof instead of pieces? Gluelam or that new pressboard beams stuff comes in 40 ft length, can go to 60 if you can transport that.

Truth be known, I'd favor this direction:

Actually I thought your 3 pc H conex was quite elegant even with the 3 piece roof but a 4 gable roof doesn't need beams on the open sides.

Xist -- I seek your opinion on this: https://www.voltawireless.com/catalog/

This eliminates [if true] a few shortcomings of the smart phone as it exists today. B2B mobile connection to escape the panopticon, IDK It appears to be AS2 (Applicability Statement 2) compliant.

The only [potential] gotcha I see is the Private Payment Plan. It's likely a third-party processor.

What do all y'all think?

The DuckDuckGoPhone?

The ultimate burner phone?

Is that what I need to complain about Mom without it coming back to haunt me?

Off-topic, sorry OP! I think that I mentioned the Alaskan in passing here, but I am unsure where I had related her drama.

It sounds like she took too long getting back to work, ran out of money, and burned bridges with nearly the only person helping her out here.

I gave her my old double bed, bedding, and Mom's old dresser, plus new bedding for the queen.

Someone gave her a dresser and a nice queen bed.

She says that people are trying to help her, but if she hadn't burned bridges I would have taken care of it already.

I cannot watch her girls or have financial entanglements, but the adult has talked her through some stuff and it has been 8 whole messages since she wrote "See you are not even listening to me. I say it but you still aren't listening."

I needed to ask several questions and piece together 3 messages to get "I don't have enough gas to get home."

So, she drops off my car, asks Mom nicely to drive them home, and finds a job in-town?

She is supposed to get back to work in several minutes. I had planned on telling her "After all of your criticism and insults, you probably want some time to yourself before driving a bus," but it looks like I don't need to.

I don't know what she is going to do, but I cannot help her further. She made sure of that.

Another bridge burnt? It probably could have been worse.

Uhhh.... That would be you. The reason for posting the question at #927 that you didn't answer.

I asked if that was the ultimate burner phone.

I asked if she could get home safely and she said that some coworkers helped her.

Did they give her gas money or a ride?

I found the bus yard, but my car wasn't there.

My sister said she would pay me $500 to sign over the car and get the Alaskan out of my life. I told her to meet me at the MVD and I would sign over the car.

Corrected for grammar:
Quote:
"I appreciate that but I can't take your car especially after all you already have done for me which I don't know how I can repay you. I already feel bad enough having to accept help. It is not easy being so poor and having to ask for help. It really takes from my pride and I am trying hard to be independent.
I feel bad I even have had to drive it."
Is she bipolar?!
Can I walk into a police station and say "Can I sign over my car to any of you? I lent it to a single mom and she refuses to give it back. I offered to give it to her and she refused that, too. I need her out of my life."
