One of many places that said they needed to replace my Accord roof.

If only I knew that Crazy Jay would fix it cheaply!

Why did you search for the address instead of clicking on the link, then going to the third picture?

People usually make lame excuses for not clicking on links, but I have never had someone go through more effort instead of clicking on the link.

Zillow is one of the silly places that uses newer filetypes that these forums don't support.

I used to copy and paste the image into Paint, then save as JPEG, but apparently you can change the WEBP to JPEG and use it normally.

They don't look like the "elephant feet" tail lights to me but the thinner earlier style. I also don't see deck lid vents as seen on the 1971 and later Bugs. But I could be wrong. My guess is 1967 to 1970, one of those years.

Buy? Mutually agreed transactions are optional these days. Someone out there has a '91 Kawasaki stand up jetski and trailer, but they didn't buy it.

I thought the jet ski incident wasn't mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Does recieved as a donation count if you can transfer title?

A friend had me look at another mobile home.

It was a little bigger, they were asking $10,000 less, and it was in another neighborhood, but not much further away.

It just didn't look very nice.

It said it was a fixer-upper, but supposedly it was eligible for a conventional loan, so it was only cosmetic stuff?

There were definitely cosmetic problems!

I drove out and saw tons of problems.

As my friend said, all of them were fixable, I just didn't want to. She asked about the roof and I drove back, but it was already dark, and it turns out that you cannot really take pictures of roofs at night.

Trulia and Zillow both showed that it had been posted within 24 hours, but I had more difficulty pulling it up last night to show Mom, and I finally found 3 listings for it.

It looks like it was posted on the eleventh for $120,000, but didn't show up until the nineteenth.

It looks like someone offered $85,000 on the eleventh, and it was accepted, but that didn't show up until after I drove out the first time.

Who accepts 29% less the first day?!

Apparently the smurf house sold within 3 days, probably for more than 71% of the asking price.

I happened to notice they are fixing up the snork house. I couldn't find it through Zillow, so I found where I shared it.

Someone bought it around the beginning of November.

The first mobile home has now been for sale for 19 days.

Zillow currently says that mobile home has been for sale for 26 days yet "We estimate this home will sell faster than 96 % nearby."

It is curious how different YouTube's suggestions are when I am logged out.

This is how to make a double-wide conex and even though I am positive that I could find someone who would say "Just weld 2 together and cut out the inner wall," it is actually rather complicated.

There are huge connectors for attaching 2 containers together. They weld 1/2" plates under each side so the corners aren't supporting the weight until it sags. They also weld supports in the ceiling because it otherwise tincans. Then they attach huge steel beams to the top of each interior side, temporarily place supports, cut out each side, and transport it. Upon arrival another team bolts the supports on the roof together, removes the supports, and welds new metal in the rest of the gap.

A double wide would be vastly more useful than a single, especially when you insulate and frame the interior, which you need to do once you start cutting doors and windows, but it definitely sounds like too much effort: This is a quick way to frame. The first video looks similar to one of the Allwood kits on Amazon, but the second one, which is used to build an entire house, and takes up most of the video, is what drew my attention. It is like building a structure with tiny pallets, just 2 2x4s in each corner, with I-shaped pieces of MDF on the top and bottom, a foundation of 2x4s and more MDF, holes and wooden pegs to connect everything.

They tap pegs into each hole in the bottom plate, set pieces all around like building a house with Legos, tap them in place, tap pegs into the top of those, and then offset the next layer, just like with Legos.

Sure, you do that with brick, too, but somehow this reminds me more of plastic bricks than clay or concrete ones: I don't know how this compares to an experienced framer, but it sure seemed quick!
