I wonder if a 79 lb adult qualifies as a "passenger"? LOL.

That's a great idea Martin. If you get a flat, you can simply take out your floor jack and change it. My silly bar bell weights serve no purpose at all. I've put the rain plan into effect and will drive the Sentra SE-R instead of the B210. Like yourself, little to no mods. Just a grill block basically. Have a good trip out there and I'll see you all tomorrow night.

I hope to be able to meet everyone after the runs, during schmoozing time. I'd really like to do a once-over on a few members' cars, if time/conditions permit. Some of the mods I see in pics, I'd like to see if they're as nicely executed in up-close scrutiny.
See y'all there!
(Afterward, my wife and I are going to walk the Glen for Mother's Day. W00T!)

I'll be up there tomorrow morning, but I think we're going to take the Yaris... this week's been too busy for me to get the Tercel in good enough shape for the drive.

Of course, it figures that there would be a 60% chance of thunder/showers.
It never fails...

Three first-gen Insights, four Prii, four electric cars including one solar, three misc. hybrids, a few historic cars, some diesels, GM's FCV Equinox, a gassified wood car...
Not all of these vehicles ran in the FE run, but it was cool to chat with the owners and builders of these interesting cars. Evidently, lots of interesting people are attracted to these events.
Unfortunately, we had no CRXes and no boattails.
The weather was awful, and accordingly, my FE was less than I was hoping for. Oh, well. (Almost) everyone got a trophy, anyway.

Awful! It could have been worse! Forecast was for a wet and windy day, but we only got the windy part. (Much to my advantage for the return to eastern Ontario, but probably not yours if you were headed west.)
It was awesome to see such a big EcoModder contingent. Everyone should try to come back for an AMEC (or some other) run later this year too.
Mike: congrats on taking the top MPG honours! I feel priveleged to have helped break in to the prize-winning Sentra before the event. (Also: I left without paying my share of the motel - just e-mail me the details.)
Oh, and the AWOL Ben mystery is solved: (Of course the ONE time I don't bring my laptop on a 2 day trip, I get all kinds of messages that would have been useful.) He wiped out his bike a week or so ago and had a minor concussion. Some symptoms came back on Fri, and his doctor told him he shouldn't be driving.
