Nice work!

I prefer a one piece design, myself, as there is less to go wrong- I can spend my time reinforcing a single point rather than many points with less work. But that's just how I am, I will spend an hour to make a system that saves me 5 minutes a week...lol

I must also say, your underbody looks very good pre belly pan. Fringe benefit of a sporty car!

Thanks! i prefer the "modular" design because just in case the undertray falls off, i dont have to leave it on the side of the road because i can't fit it in my trunk. Therefore, if this undertray falls off, it should fall off in bits and pieces.

But then again, i wouldnt have this problem if i properly designed a one piece design that is properly reinforced.

Well, in early editions of the belly pan mixed with poor decisions in deep puddles (flood), I ended up dragging having to cruise at 47 mph for about 40 miles. Any slower, and it would drag, any faster it would flap...

I have left a large piece of coroplast on the side of the road before lol

Yes. Eoc ing down long hills, making sure to stay out of boost on the pulse. If I do go into slight boost, I'll coast with the engine on for a bit as to not starve the turbo of oil when I kill the engine (i have no proof if this is even an issue, but better safe than sorry)

This is a very good idea on any turbo cars. In fact on the turbo diesel I never shut then engine off during the coast phase. Better safe than sorry.

Nice work! This looks very stealthy but makes a big difference in coast times. I'm surprised more cars don't come this way. I have had a full belly pan for four years and have had no trouble with it even when I got high centered on a snow bank. It just slid right off undamaged. Note to readers in snowy climates. I did have to extend the rear fender liner all the way to the belly pan to seal off around the rear wheels. The first winter snow would blow in there and turn to ice over the course of the winter.

Just a thought. Most tape I have used softens up with heat. You may want to add some self drilling screws around your cat-con.

Scangauge ii installation

My bestest Girlfriend in the world bought me a Scanguage II for our 5 year anniversary!
Installation pics – Im going to place it on top of my steering wheel cover.
Removed the steering wheel cover and taped it up

Taped up the SG ii, made lines to mark where the OBDII plugs into the back.

Final Placement adjustments. Smoothing the edges with painters tape

Fiberglassing

Next ups: sand/smoothing/paint
