civic-man, that ecu is not correct. Do you have the correct one? vacuum lines should be indicated in the fuel and emissions pdf... probably the same whether 96 or 99 version but i'm not sure. As for the intake manifold it looks to be right. egr wiring should be shown in the wiring diagram pdf. You need to know which ecu you are using to tell how the stuff all goes together. I would guess you are using the P2J-003? If you aren't using the correct ecu I don't know how it could work properly or how to wire it.

egr is on page 110 of the 96 wiring diagram pdf on the left hand side. vacuum lines are on page 11 of the 96 fuel and emissions pdf.

Hey discovery I checked out that pullapart place today, super awesome once I figured out how to get there. Wish they had more cars, but the prices are pretty great. Picked up a passenger window for my buddy's car for $15 and a fender I thought would fit my crx but it was from a 4 door so, waste of $30 there. I wouldn't mind going everyday, might go tomorrow too, just to see if there is anything new or anything I missed the first time over. Nothing better than getting to take little pieces off of cars for super cheap. I brought 2 boxes full of tools, only ended up using 2 sockets (10 and 12 mm), 10 and 12 mm gear wrenches and a stubby screwdriver and 10-n-1 screw driver. Have you ever pulled an engine or transmission there? They are mostly gone and picked over but if I found one new to the lot I would definately want to get it and I'm not sure how that works since it says no jacks.

Nice, I'm glad that you like it. There is one in Baton Rouge check the web site and one in Mississippi on exit 31 at the service road on the right side. Also in Baton Rouge at LKQ site after you pass the bridge first or second exit can't remember got a lot of cars. To take the engine they have this big huks on wheels. Just ask them and they will show it to you. I've pulled a lot of parts, but right now i'm interested in getting whole car: Honda Insight 2000 Gen 1 from a yard but not sure how the HV Batt are. You can take the window back and they will give you the money or at least you can take something else.

It was the fender that was wrong and I didn't get the warranty, you think they'd take it back for credit? Its in pretty good shape. Just won't work with my car. You might want to think about a crx or civic vx, or wait for the plug-in electrics that "should" be coming out soon. I think the rush to adopt hybrids is pre-mature, and real electrics overdue. The insight was the best hybrid ever though if you can get one. My plan has been to have 3 crxs, but it may end up 2 crxs and a sentra se-r. I have a friend with a 98 prelude that wants $2K if you are interested. Gas mileage won't be the best ever and he ruined the bumper but it could easily be turned around for 3500-4K if the bumper is fixed. My g/f won't let me get it because we have 4 cars between the two of us and the house we are moving into doesn't have space for 5. I think the lude has 104,7XX miles on it. I'll be getting a windshield and inspection tomorrow for my dd crx.

I remember i got the wrong fuel pump and they let me take another one.

I like the insight b/c it gives a great MPG, a friend of mine gets life time 60.3 MPG. The car can run on lean burn mode. Two of us in the car no turns at 45 MPH this car goes over 125MPG I think it is nice. I might be able to get the whole thing for $500. But first i have to get rid of my other cars. Just got the scooter as alterantive it gets 92 MPG with 25MPH city driving. Once i sort out school we should meet.
