Aerodynamic help 2000 Ford Mustang

I bought this car the way it was at 60k miles on it, everything you see was included with the car, I made no modifications. Now my question is what do I do to make this car more aerodynamcally suited if it isn't already, which I doubt it's very aerodynamic at all. I was thinking of filling in the grille and somehow putting on wheel skirts, anyone have suggestions of what type of material to use? SHould I remove the stock wing, and if I do so would I cause rust to happen, I really don't want holes in my car.

I want more MPG anyway I possibly can get them, I do practice good driving techniques and I accelerate slowly and i do not drive past 55MPH. I get about 20MPG now, is there any way to increase this further, I think I am getting the most I can out of it now by drivng slower and coasting.

Cover them holes in the front bumper and body kit. It's killing the aero.
But looks good for a 3.8

Return the Tornado and Ethos unopened and get your money back. They're junk.

Save up and order a ScanGauge II, a real-time monitoring device that can tell you what your instant and average mpg are - really the best on-the-fly feedback for your driving habit training.

Try doing a grille block - there's a lot of opening below the bumper on your ride, so closing off the opening above could allow a smoother flow over the hood. Smooth = good.

So how do I cover up the holes in the front bumper, grille and body kit with what material, and without damaging my car's body kit. and would wheel skirts work at all? can I achieve better mileage without shutting off my engine while coasting? How does everyone get so high mileage without products, cause it seems impossible cause all I can get is about 20MPG, I will return the ethos and tornado, but they probably will give me a hard time to return them right? I guess I'm going to get a scangauge 2 can I pick one up at a stor or do i have to order it online? thanks, everyone.
also how do you guys get that EPA rating thing as your sig i put it there but mine won't show up how do i get it to appear?

When they ask you why you're returning the items, just tell them you sold the car. Sure it's lying, but they were lying when they described the lofty benefits of their crappy products, so you're even. You're still out shipping and handling, but that can't be helped.

There are a few stores that sell ScanGauge II's, but you'll have an easier time just picking one up from eBay. It'll cost about $165-175, plus S&H.

As far as getting big mileage, you're kinda starting from behind - the Stang is really a sports coupe, and kind of a heavy one at that. Generally Mustangs are set up for stoplight speed - pulling away fast. They aren't usually set up for long-legged highway cruising. Find out what your axle ratio is, and your top gear ratio - those are good to know. Then look up your engine's power output curve. It's been my experience (I'll probably get flamed for this) that running your engine at the revs where it develops its torque peak is usually a pretty happy place to be. Just cruising around you aren't going to be generating anything like peak torque, but still.

Change your driving habits first and see what results you get. I refilled my truck this weekend and got 39.5mpg - I was so thrilled I forgot to be annoyed it wasn't 40. We'll have you looking down on 25mpg with disdain in no time.
