Have they discussed eventually offering other models? Arcimoto Truck, Arcimoto Van, etc?
Does that sound weird to anyone compared to, you know, model names?

A cargo version would not be hard but a van with another row of seats means a longer frame.

Maybe a single-seater version wouldn't be so unconceivable at all. It could be a reasonable option for pizza delivery and other light duties, but don't expect it to become a contender to a more conventional small truck.

Not publicly but Mark Frohnmayer has agreed to receive my input on a four wheeler version (not the two-wheel bogey on my race car design). I've already got an updated version of my 'Dymaxivan'. I'll post here after he's seen it.

Like what, LUV?
Next weekend at the 'free rides' event, I'll get some pictures of the trick, double-hinged back seat.

Was that pickup released on Valentine's Day?
"Honey! Look what I bought you, because I love you so much!"
"You shouldn't have..."

LUV was Light Utility Vehicle sold by Chevrolet. It was a small pickup truck, 1.8L 4 cyl. 5spd built by Isuzu. I drove one as a delivery vehicle

The 3rd generation of the LUV, which was not available in the U.S., used to be quite popular in most South American countries, except Brazil. But I used to see those frequently in the summer, usually with Argentinian or Uruguayan plates. At least an overwhelming majority of them were 2.5L Diesel.

I didn't see that this event is RSVP'd. Anybody else want to get some hands-on? Any questions?

A new post to bump the thread.
I find out today that the 'free rides' is in LA. So anyone down there has a shot today or tomorrow.
Here's a concept from Yamaha that addresses the same market segment (with -1 passenger and +1 wheel):

Unfortunately the world insurance companies have forced full crash testing with airbags for four wheelers. We need to somehow overturn this trend to open the way for ultralight, two seat, aero, EV's. An Aptera with four wheels.
