The Arcimoto is way too fast for factory use. All of our plants have 10 mph speed limits inside / 20 mph outside.

That is why we use these: Limited to 16 mph, seats 2, carries 3000 lbs / tows 10,000 lbs

How much do those go for?

If they can do torque vectoring in software they can also probably enable a [geo-fenced] governor.

Free oil changes with your Nissan Leaf!

Bizarre. I hit “Go Advanced” and apparently the page expired while I was responding, even though I did not think I spent that long writing it. I have not lost a post while I was writing it in a very long time. Usually I only receive that error when I submit, but I always copy my post first.

JSH, which site did you use that compared asking prices with market prices? I used AutoTempest and it showed two 2013 Leaves, one for $6,404 at a dealership, the other $6,900 private party, and both with around 65,000 miles. I know they are supposed to be better every year (and used cars are worse every year), but I would rather give a $6,500 Leaf with 65,00 miles a chance before looking at a 2016 Leaf with 32,500 miles for $13,000 miles.

Does this look suspicious to anyone else? https://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/c...744611662.html

Who writes four-digit numbers without separating groups of digits with commas?!

Also, this sentence does not make any sense whatsoever: “50k miles which is under 25k miles for the average per year.”

Are they trying to say that the imaginary car with stock\stolen images went 50,000 miles in five years averaged almost 25,000 miles yearly?

I like the Arcimoto so far. What has Renault ever done for me?! Yet, a used Leaf makes far more sense to me than a new Arcimoto.

Someone please give me one way that our favorite nascent vehicle is better!

Depends how youre measuring 'better'?

I'll take the new vehicle, with the warranty, the smaller road footprint and the lesser environmental impact to manufacture. Driving round with 4 empty seats most of the time is pointless to me and injurious to the planet.

The warranty and the roll cage are the big draws for me. The aerodynamic possibilities are in addition.

Someone needs to take their FUV, invert the handlebars and put a bellcrank on the footbrake to move it to the back. Then it could have a single saddle seat and an 8" chop top. It would fit in a P-38 belly tank.

Great for tooling around factories safely, bad for turning around in tight spaces while trying to escape an evil lair...
