I have heard that Oregon has extended it's $2500 EV tax credit to 3 wheeled vehicles, and that includes the low income extra $2500. So $5000 off an Arcimoto is possible in Oregon although I can't find any news stories of the details.

Not the federal credit though, right?
If it did qualify, I'd be asking if people wanted to buy a "used" one from me.
Still a bit steeply priced in my view, and I didn't see an example of an enclosed one or if it has cabin heating/cooling. I want to buy an EV for mom, but heating/cooling is a requirement. She also drives around the grandkids, so the car needs to be regular-sized.

So it doesn't fit your/her need. It does mine. It would get me off the bicycle.
My understanding was that the rebate (not tax credit) is $1500–2500 depending on price or battery size or ????
I'm verry interested in the $2500 low income part.

The Oregon state website has a list of eligible vehicles. They are all conventional 4 wheeled cars. It also states that to qualify for the rebate you must hold the title for a minimum of 24 months.

My sister works for a company that is digitizing government processes. Let's just say the Oregon DMV is a little behind.
I hope this works out in freebeard's favor and gets him in a sweet new ride for $5k less than anticipated.

Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program (OCVRP)
Standard Rebate Vehicle Eligibility List (as of 1/31/19)
Seems pretty current to me

I meant more in terms of DMV tracking if you've sold a vehicle or not...
They still use printed tables to figure out DMV fees that are hand calculated.

No kidding, they just emailed an announcement that the price is now $20K. ...with more affordable options to come. Will it ever hit the $12K price point again?
