This is not a complete archive. The cases we have collected do disprove Brian Ray’s claim that “the general-population teen [in the 14-17 year old age group] is 2,500 times more likely to commit homicide than a home-educated teen.” However, they do not actually tell us just how likely (or unlikely) homeschooled teens are to commit homicide.
In creating this archive, we do not claim that homeschool students and graduates are any more or less violent than individuals otherwise educated. Making such a determination would require a much larger research study than we are capable of conducting with current resources. Further, we do not think that whether homeschooled students or graduates are more or less likely to become violent is relevant to our contention that homeschooling communities need to be aware of the risk factors that may lead to such violence in their own communities and take steps to address them.

Basically substituting one set of parameters for different ones. No consideration of parent on child violence. Inner-city teachers are probably safer.

My opinion of Tim Pool's intelligence level...okay no need to go there.
But I think assuming no hot wars start (big assumption), the whole political mess is actually a good thing. In the last 10 years there's been a rightward shift in most countries for good reason, but the politicians have largely resorted to saying outsiders are the problem, while the debt bubbles have been expanding faster than ever.
Now that it looks like borders are going to be taken seriously and trade/travel are going to be cut down, people will have the chance to look inward at their own country and decide what needs to be fixed. Sustainable fiscal and monetary policy might actually have a chance. This is probably asking for too much, but maybe education reform can even happen, as the need for a competitive domestic workforce for replacing imported labor arises.

Similar to my opinion of CNN? He's careful with his sources.

Careful with his sources? Like Prager "University" and... some "turks?"
Before I grew tired of how loud Crowder was I remember him criticizing some group for not providing any sources. He said "Come on! Even I give those!"
Right, wrong, or indifferent, we can all thank Crowder for the "Change my mind" meme.

He (Tim Pool) limits his sources to what Newsguard approves.

So now do you trust Newsquard (and by extension Wikipedia)? I shan't install it just to see what hey say about Prager U. You might if you want to make that point.
I'd thought of Steven Crowder in this regard. I've got a volume control, and .75x if he's talking-too-fast.
What do you think about Lionel (Michael Wm. Lebron)?

I think for a lot of believers this is a real watershed moment, this is a preview of what they thought they wanted to fix global warming. But in the face being inconvenienced for the first time to save the environment, actually being effected negatively with 10% unemployment, imploded 401k, not being able to go anywhere or do anything and they decided they don't want it.
They were happy when the air pollution cleared over China, then when the sky's stated to clear here they got real quiet real fast.

The believers were always a minority, which is why Biden is being promoted and candidates like Bernie are being left behind. The believers will remain believers, because that's kinda the definition of our somewhat haphazard use of "belief"; to entertain an idea despite evidence to the contrary.
As Jordan Peterson says, people don't have ideas, rather, ideas have people.

Back to the spirit of the original post:
I'm definitely seeing a lot more people being physically active -- noticeably more walkers/joggers on nice days, keeping space. Maybe it's a side-effect of being kept home from work for some, going outside to keep from going stir crazy.
The amenities in parks are off limits (eg. playground equipment, gazebos, picnic tables), but all pathways remain open and local health officials are encouraging people to use them.
My routine hasn't changed much (have been WFH for decades, and am mostly retired anyway), but I've added more walking anyway.
