All the various mods over 3.5 years plus finally got lean burn working below 61 mph (not really a "mod" but it sure helps).

I probably have to credit any recent improvement to the weather and "summer" fuel mix.

I did note engine running kinda warm one day, not centered at its usual 182ºF. due to a bit too much grill block. Considering running more grill block regularly, and keep an eye on the temp via ScanGauge. Also considering a hotter thermostat, but Civics have the t'stat low down at the lower rad hose return, and with the belly pan, changing it could be a sloppy mess. So I'm tempted to do either but also a bit reluctant. Looking for any pointers you guys may have on that.

Nice results. I'm sure that feels good after all the work on the recent mods. I'm sure weather is part of it, but the weather got warm last summer and you didn't score this high, so... seems your car and/or your cranial ECU are improved!

Wow 182ºF! Mine runs up into the 190s, and crosses to as high at 203 regularly. I have seen 208 before the fan drags it back to about 197. Maybe I have a different thermostat or maybe the DX and HX for our generation are different on this point (I also don't have EGR, knock sensor...). But I would not worry about 182, I'm sure of that.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
