Did a lot of thinking fer the front side gap covers and this is what I came up with. It's a door based gap cover that should flex enough with the trailer rolling. The sliding cover is to allow the trailer lid opening/closing without crushing the gap cover. Obviously, I still have to trim the covers down once I git the trailer hooked back up and determine the best size fer those covers. I might end up moving the triangle covers to the inside.

Even had some time to install the aluminum flashing so the clear gap cover doesn't wear into the Tyvek/Coroplast lid.

You may want to give some thought to moving the gap covers to the inside. I see those getting caught by the wind, and at best, causing drag, and at worst, being ripped off. The "Open" picture shows that it shouldn't have an interference problem.

Basically I had the triangles on the outside so I could see what I needed to trim in order to clear the horizontal cover. I've already trimmed the bottom of the triangles and installed them to the inside...

That's a neat detail. Ultimately, I think it needs to be curved strips that run from one side to the other, like an armadillo.
How would that go over in TX?

If I git to the point where I can incorporate that concept...I guess I'll git there.
As far as going over in Texas...I didn't think they were funding my project.
