Cut the vertical fins down and decided not to install the flat bar in the rear as the thread-all arms seems to be keeping the rear spaced correctly. The main rails seem to be stable without the extra horizontal support. 
I've gone ahead and pulled the pool noodle out since it won't be needed any more. I guess Dark Aero will have to learn how to swim without the noodle. I'm looking to install a Coroplast ring instead to limit the amount of air/water/dirt from building up under there.

...and we have a quick 35" diameter cardboard cover to make a Coroplast cover from.

After installing this cover, there are some clearance issues that need to be addressed. I need to cut the diameter to 34" and build up the bottom to match the cover as the cover is lower than the current bottom. I only need to match the bottom profile when the wheel is straight forward.

Got a rough front cover installed. I still have to tweak and shim it a bit to git it all matched up correctly. The rear cover will be tapered to match the taper of the Lazy Susan cover.

Lazy Susan/fins
Bam,she looks like an oil well to me! Sweet! 
As to the fins,GM added them to their Cd 0.14 Aero 2002,after she was Cd 0.14.
I don't think they were flippant about the mod and there'd be a conscience reason for doing it.I'd vote 'keep 'em.' 
PS,if anyone catches their leg on those fins,then they're too close!

Wheel pant installed! I reused the Coroplast from the first version.

I ended up painting the Lazy Susan belly pan and wheel pant with the semi-gloss black paint I mistakenly bought. At least I put the paint to good use.
In order to check the tire pressure and fill the tire with air, I have to git lucky with the roll of the tire so the air valve is exposed at the 6 o'clock position or I have to take the back part of the right wheel pant off by cutting two zip ties.

A quick run today (no rain) went without any physical issues. I did notice that the front left edge of the Lazy Susan belly pan was bent down...which could mean it was catching air. I'll have to go back and reinforce the front edge and zip tie it down so it won't happen again.
I'm gonna reinforce the rear horizontal fins with some supports just to make sure they aren't flapping around back there.
I did notice my trailer light adapter wasn't working so I had to go to U-haul to git another one. I'll have to do some more testing to make sure that's the problem and if I have to replace the old module...I'll wire it in later today. 
I timed myself today on how long it takes fer me to disconnect the trailer, reinstall my SpareBumper, and pull the upper gap covers off. I left the clear side gap covers on. It took me about 10 minutes just taking my time.
Had a few gawkers today...guess they thought it was an April Fool's joke.

Traced the wiring and found the bad wires on the connector. Cut that sucker off and spliced in a new trailer side connector. Pulled the bad module off (only trailer lights and left turn signal working) and spliced in the new one.
I've been thinking...that I need some sort of visual feedback so I know that the trailer side lights are working correctly since I can't really see unless I git out and walk back to Dark Aero. I have the old vehicle side connector (with built in LEDs) that I could splice in to the trailer side harness that I could mount to the front/top of Dark Aero's lid and see what is working and what is not.
