It's here!
I had to reassemble it so I could roll it out of the street and into the driveway...which was a better choice than trying to drag it.

So here is the history of that trailer. Bruce purchased the components and put it together in 1996, to tow behind his motorhome. He made one round trip of approximately 200 miles with it. Then he had an injury of unknown cause, and suffered a broken back.
He never drove that motorhome again, or towed the trailer. It sat, and one day a common thief stole the tire off it, and many other things from his shop.
Bruce is able to walk OK but is quite limited. he was in good enough shape to hold the guy at gunpoint when he came strolling back nonchalantly with wheel in hand. he had taken it to air it up so he could steal the trailer and whatever else he could load in it!
So that's it, one trip and parked for nearly two decades.

That hat again.
What happens to the field of view if it's on the cab in the wind-shadow of the 3rd brake light? There's already wires up there.

Fer this backup camera, it had a very poor low light performance along with a terrible glare issue when used a wide-field camera.
I ended up putting it under the hatch so it would perform best in the environment that it was designed fer.
Hatch closed...
Hatch opened...
I will have to look into a bigger camera that will have better performance fer a wide-field rear camera. Fer now, this camera will just fine to see directly behind the tailgate.

Had some time to work on the next belly pan since the weather was so nice.
Built up the support structure similar to the previous one. I think I figured out how to install the wheel belly pan since the air bag support is extended out. It will be based on the bolts that hold the air bag in place and will use spacers to build in an upper support rail to secure the wheel belly pan in place. The rail will not move up in down with the wheel fork but the rail will allow the wheel fork to move without interfering with the fork's movement.
I was able to use an aluminum window frame as my crossbeam to attach my support rails fer the main belly pan.
Piccies to follow...

Here's a quick fab of the front support system...
The front spacer bar will be removed as I'm only using it to git the correct height fer the support rails. The belly pan will git installed under the support rails.
