I tried everything. I floored it, swerved all over. The thing was all over me like a bad habit, like stink on poo. It was as tight as a Klingon tractor beam.
Finally I gave up and came home where I have all the heavy resources. My plasma rifle, quantum grenades, the usual stuff.
This is what I found.

So how was the ride? Did you load anything in the trailer to keep it from bouncing so much?

Maybe move the swivel point back and make the body longer. Maybe more specifically boat tail shaped vs the cargo capability of Dark Aero.

I know that Fast Master had an 8' long swivel wheel trailer but they discontinued it. I'll need to find out why...
SWIVELWHEEL-78

Quote:
Base price for the Swivelwheel-78 system is $1995.00. Options are available. To view the current prices, click on this Order Form/Price List link.

This Original Swivelwheel System deck is 8 feet long, 7 feet wide in the front and 4 feet at the rear. This Semi-V configuration keeps the system in your lane of travel when making turns. The front deck height is adjustable to accommodate the receiver height on the tow vehicle. The deck is 3/4" treated/painted plywood. This one wheel trailer is available for various transportation needs. A self locking wheel chock is available for motorcycle transportation.
Contrary to popular belief in some chat rooms, the Swivelwheel systems do not include the perceived caster flutter while driving down the road at any speed. The swivel assembly design was engineered to remove the (as we call it) shopping cart caster flutter syndrome. This is true with a loaded or empty deck, as well as at city or highway speeds. The systems also include an adjustable friction pad and rotor assembly to alleviate any chances of flutter in the caster assembly.

All Swivelwheel systems come standard with removable jack stands with wheels for ease of moving around while disconnected from the tow vehicle.

Standard Features Include:

Deck Height = 24 3/4"
3/4" Treated/Painted Plywood decking.
Torsion Axle Suspension System.
5.70 x 8, D-Rated, 8-Ply, Highway Speed Trailer Tire.
Front Jack Stands with Wheels. This allows the system to be moved around while disconnected from the tow vehicle.
2" x 2" ID Stake Bed Receivers for tie down positions or adding stake bed sides.
Single Point Hitch Assembly. Inserts into standard Class-III or Class-IV receivers.
Integrated DOT Lighting. Incorporates RT Turn, LT Turn, Brake, and Running Lights. Also includes a license plate light.
System loads from the rear. May use customers ramps or ramps are available from Fast Master Products, Inc.
1000 Pound Capacity.
Includes Manufacturers Certificate of Origin for licensing if required.
DOT VIN Number Certification Attached.
Semi-Gloss Black Powder coat Finish.
Welded Rectangular Tubular Frame. No angle iron construction.
Available Options:
Loading Ramp Package (3-Piece Set)
Spare Tire & Wheel.
Motorcycle Locking Wheel Chock.
Motorcycle V-Style Non-Locking Wheel Chock.
Cruiser Ramp Electric Motorcycle loader.
E-Track Mounting.
E-Track Mounting Adapters.
Ratchet Tie-Down Straps w/E-Track Mounting Adapter on one end & S-Hook on the other.
Dual Point Hook-Up Assembly. This hitch allows the systems tongue weight to be distributed over two points connected to the tow vehicle giving a greater stability of the deck with offset loads such as an electric golf cart. Requires welding of two additional receivers to the tow vehicle. Receivers are included.
Three Receiver package for motor coaches. This receiver package is the same receiver package included in our Cruiserlift – RV Motorcycle Lift system. The Dual point Hook-up Assembly will plug directly into the two outer receivers on the package. The center receiver is for standard towing.

I got it all taken down to the component pieces and learned a few things.
1) I was way off on my Wild Arse Guesstimate (WAG) for weight. I figured under 100. It was more like 145.
2) Carriage bolts do not hold well in 10 year old OSB. I had to break most of the deck bolts.
3)All of the above led me to call it "Dank Aero", because I had to be smoking some good shiz to think this was going to be either fast or easy :P

I pondered it for not too long before I realized it was all due to Murphy's first law. No good deed goes unpunished

Moved the Ultragauge from the coveted place on the dash and installed a 4.3" color video monitor in preparation fer my rear cameras.

I cut down the original monitor mount and secured it to a flat plate which I screwed to the dash. The monitor can swivel left to right, pivot up and down, and push it towards or pull it away from the dash.

looks good.
i made my UG mount from heavy gauge copper wire. bent to shape, soldered, shrink tubing for a softer touch. bent to mount to the vent.
mounted the DVR to the rear view using the same method.
i used to have my 4.3" screen on the column. kept in place with a black elastic band/buckle.
