High grade lubricants and fuel from the oil, alcohol from the leaves and stems, body panels from the fibers, and post-Prohibition — inspiration from the flowers.

Castor oil plants contain Ricin.
Quote:
Ricin
Ricin is a lectin and a highly potent toxin produced in the seeds of the castor oil plant, Ricinus communis. A dose of purified ricin powder the size of a few grains of table salt can kill an adult human. The median lethal dose of ricin for mice is around 22 micrograms per kilogram of body weight via intraperitoneal injection. Oral exposure to ricin is far less toxic. An estimated lethal oral dose in humans is approximately 1 milligram per kilogram.Wikipedia
Organism:
Ricinus communis

Yeah, but we have petroleum products, so why bother? I feel like aldarc trying to convince me to eat an impossible burger because it's expensive and nearly as good.

I hope that guy didn't succumb to the the Rona, and I mean that seriously.

Never tried it. Neither willing to do so. Well, usually I say the times I shared a steak with my dog are another good reason for me to not go vegan
