Thats an interesting idea I've seen before. Maybe I need to test it out. I have a particulate, humidity, and CO2 sensor to see the effect.

Barndominium! $110-120 per square foot and looks like a commercial steel building! [banjo music]

I ran across this on Facebook Marketplace. It kind of seems like someone's answer to a mobile home. Those can be absolutely beautiful inside, but unlike Barndominiums, they can look nice outside.

This looks like a giant shop and often one side is. I don't think that putting wooden touches on a metal building works, but it is an interesting option.

They actually seem better built than many site-built homes with Zip-R sheathing and spray insulation, but I do not think this is for me. What do you guys think?

I formulated a plan this morning.

I have two trailer axles with electric brakes. 4"x8"x14ft wood beams are $45 each. Take two and cut half-circular notches 4ft apart on the bottom. U-bolt the beams directly to the axles with no suspension. Big low-pressure tires like a pay-loader.

Mortise and tenon crossmembers. Tongue and groove decking else a radiant heat floor.

My example was metal touches on a wooden building.

I'm a fan of non sequiturs. But if I lived in a metal barn house, I'd have wooden touches (obviously), but I'd also have window boxes with metal flowers- because I'm a fan of consistency too.
