Sub-floor is laid directly on joisting and forms a substrate for finish flooring.

That sounds like almost 5 minutes more than "-shed."

There is only a subfloor if I put in flooring!

I was thinking that I may not be able to build a ramp, but I would move the shed a foot or two.

Yeah, I am not digging frozen Arizona regolith.

Shouldn't I make the ground level under the shed?

Roughly, yes. If you're in a flood plain, put it up on stilts.

I don't remember the last time that we had a heavy rain, but we have never had anywhere near enough to be as high as those concrete blocks.

As for the lack of rain, that is all George W's fault. You see...

There is such a thing as a floating foundation but you are still supposed to dig down and compress the underlying soil and fill.

Oh and a floating foundation is usually for cement

If you go buy one of the sheds at the orange store, they just plunk it down on the yard.

What say freebeard on this, wasn't he such an installer?

Orange store... bad?

I built houses, towns and factories; but sheds? The closest was roofing trusses, in the 1970s and 2000s. I did drive a roofing truss delivery truck for a while.

You're probably thinking of my neighbor renting a Summit Structures shed. I was impress by the delivery truck and trailer.

https://www.pinehilltrailers.com/she...-shed-trailers

After watching a shed delivery trailer in action, I'd never get a single-wide trailer.
