I have about ten of those at Mom's friend's house. I would grab them now and promising to replace them the next time that she is out of the hospital, but all of the lumber is piled on it.

I need to move the shed 5' from the fences.

I used some flat pavers for my shed. The mower and other stuff in it don't complain.

Wow - 33 pages in this thread ??

So I know the answer is " It depends ", but in summary was the general concensus that the answer is " yea " , or " nea " ?

They have these sheds at my job.
Total crap.

I am one of the few people that could possibly live in a "tiny home " and not have too many gripes.
I would just add additional sheds on the property to store all my junk.

Tiny homes. Isn't that a fancy way of saying " lean-to shack " ?

Are single wide trailers taxed different than tiny homes ?
From what I'm told, the reason that tiny homes are not just glorified single wide trailer houses*, is the build quality.

But what advantage would a tiny home have over buying a trailrr house and basically building a house around it ( for example installing an actual home shower and toilet instead of trailer house junk. )
( *actually the single wide being much larger !)

Maybe. Maybe not.
A trailer like the Bowlus clone have insane build quality. Most are factory build to some level of quality. Tiny homes are typically self built and vary in their quality.

I live in 256sq ft*. It's a good size for a solitary person, IMHO, at 8ft wide (better than a recreational trailer at 7ft wide). But a 10x24, at 240sq ft would be more livable, and a 20ft circle at 314sq ft would be ideal.

*Plus carport with 10x10 shed. I just added a 6x8 lean-to for garden tools and junk.

Which shed? This thread is 9 pages long!

I would love to chat, but I need to make sure that my building supplies are covered, it is raining. I should also cover the friend's stuff, but they are sitting on the ground.

I think that I will rent a truck and put the supplies in Mom's locker so it can dry out.

I guess that I should have installed a trailer hitch when Scott suggested it.

I'm pretty well covered, except for the Metro. With it, it's a tug-of-war between the rain and the pine needles.

I rented a van and loaded up the lumber, but left the masonry blocks. In theory I will be returning everything on Tuesday and Wednesday and finally build the ramp, but we will probably have aliens invade, a comet strike, or maybe organized mobs of monkeys will take over the city.

Sure, I could have loaded up the blocks, and moved the shed today, but that didn't seem like a good idea with damp grass and mud.

Yes, a subfloor. Well, maybe I'd rather use pier blocks and keep the floor above ground level to prevent excessive moisture on the soil to damage the shed.

I spent too long looking at the results of "diy shed subfloor" and zero actually had subfloors.

Do you have any examples?
