Mayyyyybe I'll do that on the next set of tires, . But they were scratched up by the first owner, and me thinks that Saturn S-Series alloys aren't on anybody's most wanted list. In the meantime I think I will treat each wheel as an experiment until I find a solution that works for me.

Here are pictures of my efforts. Cheap Wal-Mart special wheel covers and $5 of vinyl sheet. Total cost: $20.

The OEM covers had fallen off. These look better than steelies, and do not have drag-inducing holes in them.

If they are loose enough to flap, they're probably hurting.

I have to agree with Frank. Without knowing for sure, they don't look "tight enough" in the picture. If I had those wheel covers, I might try black duct tape on the back. Because the tape would be facing out, it would gather dust over time, but I think it would still look stealthy-OEM. Maybe I would even throw some fine grain dust at it to "coat" the tape ahead of time, or cut some cheap black kiddie arts and crafts foam sheet to stick onto the tape.

They have been wrinkly since I put them on there, and have not changed in 1000+ miles. Likely they're not flapping. The vinyl has hardened up considerably being exposed to the elements on a constant basis. The wrinkles are both being rushed in making them and installer error.

I will re-do them one of these days now that I have some good adhesive, as they're currently frictioned on. The goal is to get the vinyl flush with the wheel cover without wrinkles for a cleaner appearance.

you could use some sort of adhesive on the back(wonder if pvc glue would work), then hit it a heat gun to get any wrinkles out.

Ok. Sometimes pictures don't tell the whole story. 1000 miles is a lot. Appearances can be deceiving. They are your "version 1.0".

They have that "I was too lazy to take em out of the plastic" look

blow drier, that should shrink the plastic a bit tighter..

Yeah, shrink wrap, like what's used for Window Insulation Kits, might actually look really nice!

Any just so you guys know, my hub caps are just screwed to "snap-on" plastic rings that pop on to my tires' steel rims.

The trucks rims were not modified/mangled etc. in any way.

Real easy to pop on and off, put on a different vehicle, check the air pressure, etc.
