Does the Nano remind anyone else of the Mitsubishi iCar?

Cheers , Pete.
Yeah, but the iCar reminds me of the Smart, so I consider that to be the overall design origin.

The only thing that really suprised me about this car was NO RADIO.

Any idea if people in India don't listen to the radio in their car? Might be a cultural difference?

I have never heard of any car in the past two decades in the US that didn't come with at least a crappy radio as standard equipment.

For $2500, I would be happy to throw a battery operated boom box in the back seat.

Both Fireflies (Metros) I've owned had no factory radio. 1998 models. However, they came pre-wired for sound and had 4 factory speakers.

Yikes. Maybe that's why my Geo was bought with a crappy-fitted 1980s-era Delco deck in it? Maybe it didn't have a radio at all when new.

Do you have any idea what size those speakers are? I can not seem to find the info anywhere. Google included.
I haven't had time or weather to get back to the boneyard.
My krappy car was purchased without even speakers. I think the previous owner had some aftermarket thumper system in there.
Thanx. S.

Too bad Tata forked out 2.3 billion for Jaguar and Land Rover.

Maybe someone has already said this. If the Nano does sell for around $2500, then maybe this will become a good EV conversion platform.

EDIT: But maybe the battery weight will overwhelm the suspension.

I remember reading somewhere that due to safety regulations in europe the version of the car that they will be selling there will cost around 5000 euros.

Here it is.
Geneva Preview: Tata to bring the euro-spec Nano back for more?

I know its still cheaper than other cars in the UK (not sure about the US), but I think we can expect a massive mark-up when it reaches the first world.
