Look what I found, a thread that wasn't locked.

Of course Google can't find the thread where everyone was suggesting I switch to Brave browser so EcoModder won't serve ads. But I was reminded about the browser I was using. Permalink #21

The verdict on Brave? It doesn't allow right-click to paste into a quote, which is weird. And it does not load ads, but has a grift where you can watch ads for luck bucks.

Life is good without Lyn Carter the 80-year-old supermodel.

I was trying to figure out what’s up with the deceptive title?
Wisconsin BEV sales fell off a cliff 4 years ago already.

They are in the same drug family, tonic has 83mg,
You need at least 500mg to become medical
Neither form has been shown to cure corona

Taking zinc and vitamin C (and tonic if you like the stuff) does reduce the intensity and duration of all cold and flu symptoms Regardless of strain
When taken in advance of infection meaning That taking vitamin C and zinc in normal amounts certainly does not hurt you but it doesn’t stop infection, merely reduces the duration and intensity when taken before and during infection.

Quinine which is a very weak Natural cousin of chloroquine affects zinc uptake which does affect coronavirus symptoms.

Nothing about the above is anything new,

Not like good lord zinc and vitamin C shorten virus symptoms, good Lord we only discovered that 150 years ago!

Dr. Campbell has been preaching vitamin D.

My recommendation would be to do what is within your control to avoid risk factors, and if after that you're still in a higher risk category, to isolate more.

Me, I'm hoping to be exposed as soon as possible. Being exposed and isolating is a benefit to society since it contributes to herd immunity. One of the only times I would take pride in being part of a herd.

In his interview with Joe Rogan, Brett Weinstein said some interesting things:
  • kill it quick, don't let it spread else it can accommodate itself to us as a host.
  • jumping species and propagating are two different things, somebody may have helped
I've been taking Reishi Mushroom capsules, C, D3 and Zinc with tonic water. My doctor limited me to 83mg/day of quinine, twice that gave me a noticeable arrhythmia.

Wash 2 grapefruit throroughly, cut into small sections and bring to a boil in 1 1/2 quarts of water. Do not peel the grapefruit since the quinine is in the rind. Let simmer for 1/2 hour. Let the mixture cool tightly covered.

We now know that the oxygen starvation in COVID-19 patients is due to thrombosis in the fine arteries in the lungs and other tissues. So medication that prevents blood clots, like aspirin, can help prevent or reduce that.
Aspirin also has some negative side effects so it should still only be used on prescription.

I'm also on the Vitamin D bandwagon.

It's interesting that new cases are on the upswing but deaths are dropping. I guess it's being treated better now.

Back in the day, they didn't even test everyone suffocating in the ICU. Now they're testing people who aren't even sick, so the case numbers would hopefully go up.

The problem that the naysayers are trying to ignore is that the percentage of tests that come back positive is also increasing. That's bad. If it were a nothingburger like the deniers claim, then increased testing would lead to increased cases, yes, but the percentage of positive results would be dropping. But the opposite is happening.

Sadly for Florida...
Quote:
“Look, your test numbers are going up, but the number of people testing positive are going up faster. You’re getting a much higher positivity rate. That means more widespread infection and not just more testing.”
It's bad enough that even DeSantis is starting to admit it:
Quote:
“Even with the testing increasing or being flat, the number of people testing positive is accelerating faster than that,” DeSantis said. “You know that’s evidence that there’s transmission within those communities.”
And then there's Texas:
[quote]
Abbott said last week the state was averaging more than 3,500 new cases per day after averaging 1,500 per day in May. He noted that hospitalizations set a record 10 days straight and are now at more than 3,400 and that the positivity index was hovering just under 9% after being below 5% for much of last month.
[quote]

A higher percentage of positive test results can't be explained away as simply the result of increased testing. If we're lucky, it's leading to earlier hospitalizations and better results.

I happily take more vitamins and unhappily wear a mask, where appropriate. I've been really enjoying spending more time at home: no driving the kids everywhere, spending fun time in the yard.

Back in Feb, I asked about this theory, but I think the thread got locked. I wanted to ask my doctor but they won't let me. It was that it's a blood disease that strips iron ions out of the hemoglobin and precipitates it in the most constricted part of the bloodstream — the lungs. Thus the sand-like appearance of both lungs. [if this thread gets locked I'm sorry]
_______________

The significant number is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Case_fatality_rate. Kayleigh McEnany in the White House press briefing today said that that is going down.

As for what that number might be: duckduckgo.com/?q=case+rate+vs+death+rate&ia=news

What I want to know is who decided that the term Kung Flu is [always] "wrong and offensive" [and never offensive and wrong]? I liked Corona-chan.

I didn't go into the theory, but I got one of those fingertip oxygen readers.
