Trade NM and AZ for the Northeastern states and you have a map of who wouldn't want to be part of Reconquista.

The Hispanic and Latino American proportion of population in the United States in 2010
over laid with the Mexican–American border of 1836
Okay.... add Nevada, Utah and that square one.

edit:
A quirk in the Electoral College is the electors not being required to follow the popular vote within their state.

Compare with the superdelegates in the Democratic party. They aren't required to follow the popular vote within their state. Just in case, you know, We the People make the 'wrong' choice.

That's how you get Bernie Sanders getting 70% of the vote in Hawaii and only getting one of four electoral votes in the primary.

Yes, and where's the problem with having each vote being equal?

The electoral college works.
It kept hillery out of the white house.

She's got to keep up the momentum.

The far-right wingnuts that hang on her every word need their daily dose of outrage.

I particularly like where they claimed she supports Trump on ICE by voting for continuing appropriations for DHS (conveniently glossing over what 'continuing' actually means) and where they tried to claim the boobs reflected in a shower faucet were hers.

If they keep this up, she'll be a shoe-in for a Presidential nomination one day. They're obsessed.

But nah, given the conservatives in Congress and even in the DNC, I doubt the Green New Deal will push through.

The center right can't get enough of her tearing down the Democratical Party the way Trump tore down the Republicans. She's been described as an anti-Trump, but I think it's more contra-Trump.

She wears white eye shadow counter-shading. It looks like she's spent time in a tanning bed.

OTOH, Tulsi Gabbard, IMHO a reasonable choice for First Female President is being branded as a far-right wingnut. The regressive Left don't want no female Hindu Samoan war veteran for president. No way.

You don't find it to be a problem if LA, NY, and Miami dictate the outcome of every election?

I stumbled on this interesting report on ER/EI.

Declining ER/EI of oil production is the big issue we have coming at us which translates to a smaller societal surplus. What should we spend any remaining surplus on? NFL and Disneyland? 200 year solar panels and electric trains and ground based heat pumps?

Each person's vote should be equal.

Back on topic - here is a video that animates the temperature anomalies by country each year, from 1880 to 2017:

See the pattern of increasing temperature?

The oil reconciliation.
What happened over the last 10? Looks like that chart stopped about 2008. My guess is it dropped even more throughout 2010 to 2014 and then 2016 to right now we are in a little false hope spike like you see around the year 2000.

United People instead of United States?

We could burn out the rural enclaves and force everyone into the three population centers.
