Some plants experience temporary growth, peak out, then experience no additional growth.Beyond 104-F,all photosynthesis is arrested, leaf stomata close off,and there's no longer any growth. Then wilt. Then heat death.Guatemala has been experiencing this for a couple of decades now.
Any good news is welcome, but the overall trajectory is grim.As in 'Reaper.'

No,I probably miss a lot on the tube. But I get the gist. It's as if people weren't watching.I have a dear friend who drives a hybrid. They may drive 3-times what the average American drives in a year, flitting from one activity to another, spread out all over the country. So far,it hasn't dawned on them, the size of their carbon footprint. But they're quick to criticize everyone else's.Funny country!

Now I know you really aren't paying attention to anything.
I asked you about the solar maximum, because you mentioned it.

I accept the facts, and the scientific conclusions around this is that humans are causing this current climate crisis.

You make a lot of straw man arguments, and this one is also wrong.

We do need to make major changes to everything we do that burns fossil fuels.

Do you think anyone can be blamed for using the system BEFORE we get started changing it?

The problem is that she frames the issue in similar terms as rape or other heinous behavior. It's like a prolific raper going on tour espousing the evils of rape.

I'm not accusing or equating her to such heinous behavior, but it's her own logical inconsistency that moves her rhetoric outside of serious consideration and closer to lunacy.

It's not enough to be passionate and intend well about something; you've also got to have solutions that work in a world that places constraints on reality.

That's true. The question should be should we change the things or the doing.

I should go out and idle both my cars. They haven't run in a month.

edit:
Tucker Carlson said China does 29% of the world's pollution and India only 7%. So them that want carbon to go away should be pleased with the way things are going in China right now.

Yes, we should all put the computer down.

Go outside and enjoy nature, go fishing, travel or build something.

Anything is better than this electronic pacifier.

Life is to short...

Like, I always wanted to build a swing set...

But didn’t have a reason to...

Now I do...
